GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR TOUR
Explore the lake at your own pace when you hire one of our watercraft. Young or old; fit or not-so-fit; complete beginner or advanced – the calm water of Lake Argyle is the ultimate place to canoe, kayak or SUP. We are happy to give you a few tips to get you started, then take to the water and away you go!
Canoe: We rent out a range of safe and reliable double and triple plastic canoes that track well through the water.
Kayak: We rent out a range of safe and reliable single and double plastic kayaks that track well through the water. These are sit-on-top kayaks and not sit-in kayaks
SUP: Glide across the water on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP). We offer a range of stand-up paddleboards for hire. Paddle boarding is suitable for all fitness levels and is a marvelous way to see Lake Argyle.
Inclusions: Your rental includes your watercraft, paddle and life jacket/s.
Note: Maritime regulations require all paddlers to wear life jackets at all times.
Safety: A safety briefing is provided to you before you enter the water.

Most definitely, our canoe, kayak & paddle board hire is a fun way to get out and explore Lake Argyle and tire out those energetic children!! We supply life jackets for all ages above 2 years of age. Our staff will share with you some fun places to visit.
We have dry bags available to loan for a $5 deposit.
During the months of June to August it can get cold out at Lake Argyle.
We recommend bringing a jumper or jacket and/or a change of clothes.
Yes, both on board our boats and at our office.
Certainly, we do have freshwater crocodiles in Lake Argyle but these creatures don’t actively hurt humans. We swim in the deeper parts of Lake Argyle where they frequent less.
Lake Argyle is 70kms from Kununurra. The drive should take approx 50 minutes, but we recommend giving yourself an hour travel time.
Certainly is, Lake Argyle Road is sealed the whole way. There are some spots you will need to slow down due to the condition of the road and you do need to check the road conditions in the ‘wet season’.
It will be dark by the time this cruise finishes. We advise to pay extra attention on the road as there is stray wildlife. We also advise to drink responsibly on the cruise.
