GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR TOUR
Good things come to those who bait. If you’re angling to catch a fish during your time at Lake Argyle, join us for a fishing expedition! We guarantee that you’ll catch a fish of some sort and, if not, we’ll give you a 50% refund. Lake Argyle abounds with a huge variety and number of fish. The largest is the massive “Silver Cobbler” which can weigh up to 40kg. We target these huge beasts as well as the feisty “Sooty Grunter” and anything else which might come along. Barramundi are increasing in numbers, but are still few and far between.
Includes: We supply a selection of rods, reels, hand lines, bait and lures (lures to be replaced if lost). You are also welcome to bring your own gear. We are supporters of sustainable fishing practices and have therefore imposed our own limit of 3x fish or 3kg (unless a single fish filleted weighs over 3kg, then you can keep whole fish) per person per trip.
To book your Lake Argyle fishing trip, please contact us.
Average Duration: 4 hours
Note: We guarantee that you’ll catch a fish of some sort and, if not, we’ll give you a 50% refund.

Certainly, we do have freshwater crocodiles in Lake Argyle but these creatures don’t actively hurt humans. We swim in the deeper parts of Lake Argyle where they frequent less.
Lake Argyle is 70kms from Kununurra. The drive should take approx 50 minutes, but we recommend giving yourself an hour travel time.
Certainly is, Lake Argyle Road is sealed the whole way. There are some spots you will need to slow down due to the condition of the road and you do need to check the road conditions in the ‘wet season’.
It will be dark by the time this cruise finishes. We advise to pay extra attention on the road as there is stray wildlife. We also advise to drink responsibly on the cruise.
